• Why online blogging in 2022? Contrary to superficial hype of shiny new online marketing channels, blogging is very much still a main priority of marketing managers in companies and continues to grow with 57% of marketers say they’ve gained customers specifically through blogging (Source). The public are using search engines more than ever to learn information and buy new products through trusted referrals like blogs. Social media is a very noisy marketplace where users are mindlessly scrolling – blogging ensures that people find what they are already searching.
• How long will it take to make money? It usually takes up to 12 weeks for a brand new website blog to start gaining traffic from search engines but, as soon as it does, you'll be able to start to make brand partnerships, have affiliate links on the blog and monetise the traffic.
• How much money will I likely make? The sky is genuinely the limit depending on how smart you can be with the research and how much content you can publish. With 12 weeks of work you can get to £250-£500 per month quite easily without needing to put any more work in. Bloggers like Adam Enfroy are making upwards of £250,000 per month from monetising their traffic.
• How much time do I have to commit? The course runs over 6 weeks and can be completed self-paced with a 2 hour weekly group call to answer questions and network with your fellow students. A minimum of 10-15 hours per week will be needed for content creation, you always have the option of paying for a writer to create content for you.
